Milton W. Friesen

U.S. Veteran

Milton W. Friesen, 88, died August 25, 2011, at Hospice House, Hutchinson. He was born July 25, 1923, in Buhler to Henry and Helena Dyke Friesen. Milton was a WWII veteran and retired from the National Guard, a member of First Baptist Church, and was part of Mid-America Detector Club. On November 16, 1947, he married Carmen Talbott, in Hutchinson. She survives.

Other survivors include: sons, DeWayne Friesen of Hutchinson, Dale Friesen of St. Louis, MO, Dennis Friesen of Hutchinson; 6 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.

Milton was preceded in death by 2 brothers and 7 sisters.

Funeral service will be 10:30 a.m. Monday, August 29, 2011, at First Baptist Church, with Pastor Bob Hanthorn officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery with military honors presented by the National Guard Honor Guard. Friends may call 5-9 today at Elliott Mortuary.
