Harold Eugene Miller, 63, passed away April 9, 2012, at Kansas Heart Hospital, Wichita. He was born July 19, 1948, in Dodge City, to Walter and Bettye (Howland) Miller.
Harold retired in 2003 from Kansas Gas Service, where he was a serviceman. He loved restoring and showing classic cars and greatly enjoyed doing yard work. Harold had a great love for his family, especially his grandchildren.
He married Diania Rodie in Nov. of 1991 in Las Vegas, Nev. She survives.
Other survivors include: two sons, Pastor Darin Miller of Hendersonville, Tenn., and Nathan Miller of Wichita; daughter, Alisa Miller of Galveston, Texas; step children, Shaun Grimes and Lyndsey Heit, both of Wichita; mother, Bettye Miller of Hutchinson; brother, Walter Miller of Luther, Okla.; sister, Linda Chaffin of Hutchinson; half sisters, Sandra Burton of Dodge City and Jackie Konrade of Idaho Falls, Idaho; 11 grandchildren and two on the way; seven great-grandchildren; and his beloved dog, Maks. Harold was preceded in death by his father, Walter Miller, and a brother, Dale Wesley Miller.
Memorial service will be 2 p.m. Thursday, April 12, 2012, at Elliott Chapel with Pastor Darin Miller officiating. Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Wednesday with the family to receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson.
