Ada Ernestine Rodarmel, 95, died Tuesday, July 16, 2013. She was born June 15, 1918, in Hutchinson, the daughter of Ernest and Elsie Hegarty Metcalf.

She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church Ladies Auxiliary and Pocahontas Club. Ernestine was a homemaker.

On Dec. 25, 1936, she married Robert L. Rodarmel in Hutchinson. He died May 10, 2000. Surviving are: their daughters, Nancy Perry (Don) and Beverly Main (Rex Nickel), both of Hutchinson; five grandchildren, Mark Perry (Peggy), Curtis Perry (Doreen), Donna Alexander (Eddie), Kimberly Ropp (Bruce), Eric Main (Patrica); 16 great-grandchildren, Chad Perry, Todd Perry (Maggie), Tyler Perry (Erin Tebow), Jennifer Perry (Derek Thrash), Crystal Most (Ian), Joshua Perry (Alexis), Sean and Amber Brodnax, Lindsey Davies, Trenton Davies, Shelby Alexander, Mason Alexander, Kaitlyn, Adrik and Keeley Ropp, Ashley Main, 12 great great-grandchildren, Eric, Cloe, Cali and Levin, Matthew and Sasha, Lorelei, Anastasia, Logan and Morgan, Ellie and Halsten. She was preceded in death by her parents; infant daughter, Mary Helen; a brother, Perry Metcalf; and a sister, Mary Throop.

A graveside service will be 10 a.m. Friday, July 19, 2013, at Eastside Cemetery Hutchinson, with Mike Hambley officiating. Visitation will be from noon to 9 p.m. Thursday with family present 6 to 7 p.m. at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson.
