Adam C. Egbert, 27, died March 27, 2006, near Paola.
He was born Dec. 22, 1978, in Hutchinson, the son of Brian and Tess Drake Egbert. He graduated from Nickerson High School in 1997. He was an electrician working for PAR Electrical Contractors, Inc.
He belonged to the Catholic Church, the Nickerson Baseball Club and I.B.E.W. Local No. 304.
Survivors include: a son, Adam "Ace" Egbert, Hutchinson; nephew, Brant "Deano" Egbert, his parents, Brian and Tess Egbert, Hutchinson; two sisters, Loni Egbert and Lacy Egbert, both of Hutchinson; a grandmother, Shirley Egbert, Hutchinson; aunts and uncles, Jerry and Aunt Jan Brawner, Tim and CoraJean Egbert, Barry and Amie Egbert, Terry and Carol Drake, Dan and Claudia Drake, and Donna Drake; and cousins, Allie, Scott, Pete, Matt, Jana, Shelley, Jeff, Stephanie, Pete, John, Maren, CeCe, Katie and Cindy.
He was preceded in death by grandparents, Alice and Tom Drake, and Pete Egbert.
Rosary will be at 7:30 p.m. Thursday at Elliott Mortuary Chapel, Hutchinson. Funeral Mass will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, with Father Colin Boor presiding. Friends may sign the register from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday at the mortuary. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers a memorial fund will be established for his son, Adam. Donations may be sent to the Egbert Educational Fund, in care of the mortuary.
