Adam Lee Higgins, 40, died May 14, 2022, at Wesley Medical Center, Wichita. He was born May 14, 1982, in Hutchinson, to Randall and Linda (Morgan) Higgins.

Adam graduated from Hutchinson High School in 2000, and later from Hutchinson Community College. He was a welder for Excel Corporation in Hesston. Adam's favorite hobby and past time was riding his motorcycle. He also enjoyed fishing, camping, and hunting. On June 14, 2014, Adam married Meagan Archer, in Hutchinson.

He is survived: mother and stepfather, Linda and Mike Kollhoff, Hutchinson; wife, Meagan Higgins, Hutchinson; daughter, Leighton Standifer-Higgins, Jefferson City, Missouri; son, Zayden Standifer-Higgins, Jefferson City, Missouri; bonus daughter, Shyann Cullison, Hutchinson; bonus sons, Sebastian and Sawyer Cullison, Hutchinson; sister, Morgan Kempenar (Stephen), Baldwin City; nephews, McClane and Mayes Kempenar, Baldwin City; grandmother, Janice Morgan, Hutchinson; mother-in-law, Trudy Archer, Hutchinson; father-in-law, Robert Miner, Hutchinson; and grandmother, Nancy Potter, Hutchinson.

Adam was preceded in death by: his father, Randall Higgins; grandfather, Stanley Morgan; and great-grandparents, Murl and Clarence Morgan.

Visitation will be 5 to 7 pm Friday, May 20, 2022, at Elliott Mortuary. Friends may sign the book from 9 am to 5 pm Wednesday through Friday at Elliott Mortuary.
