Alan Ray Wilkinson, 59, died Friday, June 15, 2018, at his home in Hutchinson.  He was born May 10, 1959, in St. Louis, MO, to Robert and Opal (Massey) Wilkinson.

He graduated from Lompoc High School in Lompoc, CA.  He was a subcontractor for NASA for several years.  He enjoyed playing the guitar, chess and fishing.

On January 31, 1992, he married Bonnie Elizabeth Benter in Lompoc, CA. She died July 1, 2000.

Alan is survived by: mother, Opal Wilkinson of Garland, TX; daughter, Patricia Webb and fiance, Ryan McCrory of Hutchinson; granddaughters, Ashley and Sarah Adkinson, both of Hutchinson, Alexis and Karrah Tatum, both of Salina; and grandsons, Seraphim Adkinson of Hutchinson, Joesph, Aaron, and Jacob Tatum, all of Salina; and numerous cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by; wife, Bonnie Wilkinson; father, Robert Wilkinson; brother, Timothy Scott Wilkinson; great-grandson, Ray Adkinson; and many friends.

Funeral services will be 10:00 Monday, June  25, 2018 at Elliott Mortuary with V. Rev. Paul O'Callaghan and Rev. Joshua Burnett officiating. Burial will take place at Laurel Cemetery.  Friends may sign the book from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.  Wednesday through Monday at Elliott Mortuary.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Alan R.
