Aldene D. Richert's Obituary
Aldene D. Richert, 83, died Jan. 30, 2006, at Mennonite Manor, South Hutchinson.
She was born May 1, 1922, in Hillsboro, the daughter of Bernhard F. and Bena Schroeder Wall. She graduated from Hillsboro High School in 1940 and from Tabor College in 1942. She spent many years assisting her late husband, Dr. Harold Voth, with his dental practice, and then later in life she worked various jobs.
She was raised in the Mennonite Brethren Church and is a member of Trinity United Methodist Church and was in Sweet Adelines.
On Feb. 22, 1943, she married Dr. Harold K. Voth in Hillsboro. He died Oct. 14, 1973. On Oct. 18, 1982, she married Wilfred G. "Bud" Richert in Hutchinson. He died March 1, 1985.
Survivors include: three sons, Robert K., McPherson, Paul R., Greensburg, and Charles M., McLean, Va.; a daughter NelLouise Smith, Nickerson; eight grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Marguerite Juhnke.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Trinity United Methodist Church, Hutchinson, with the Rev. Nick Warner presiding. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson. Burial will be in Laurel Cemetery, Haven.
