Alice Louise Green, 83, died June 7, 2015, at Hutchinson Regional Medical Center. She was born June 13, 1931, in Wichita, to Jim and Elsie (Benton) Bell.
Alice was a secretary for the Nickerson school district. She enjoyed quilting, cross-stitch, painting, crocheting, and ceramics.
On Dec. 20, 1951, she married Kenneth William Hamilton Green in Hutchinson. He died July 23, 1998. Alice is survived by: children, Evelyn Stancel of Washington, Mo., Gary Green and wife Leta of Wichita, Tony Green and wife Kim of South Hutchinson, Donna May and husband Ernie of Tonganoxie, Glenn Green of Hutchinson, Linda Owen and husband Scott of Hutchinson; siblings, Bob Bell, George Bell, Jesse Bell, Mildred Ebie, Dorothy Barney, Jessamine Meseroll, Gertrude Seifert; 17 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Charles Bell.
Cremation has taken place. Memorial service will be 10 a.m. Thursday, June 18, 2015, at New Hope Baptist Church, 4th and Obee Rd., Hutchinson, with Pastor Harold E. Nelson officiating. Burial will follow in Wildmead Cemetery, Nickerson.
