Alicia L. Gray, 40, formerly of Hutchinson, died January 8, 2022, at her home in Lexington, KY.  She was born May 9, 1981, in Hutchinson, to Elizabeth Zimmer Gilson.

Alicia graduated from Hutchinson High School in 1999, and Bluegrass Community and Technical College, Lexington, KY, in 2008. She loved music, and during high school, played the flute, piano, and sang soprano in several choirs.  Alicia's passion was helping others, and she excelled at being a registered nurse for various doctor offices and nursing homes.  Known for her bubbly personality and beautiful smile, she enjoyed time spent with her family and friends, and listening to music.

Alicia is survived by:  her son, Maison Anthony Gray of Lexington, KY; mother, Elizabeth Zimmer Gilson; grandmother, Evelyn Zimmer, both of Hutchinson; siblings, Anika Biesler (Derrick) of Burlington, IA, Jamil McClelland, and Ricky Linebarger (Krystal); aunt, Nancy Shrouf, all of Hutchinson; friend, Mario Crutchfield of Lexington, KY; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

Celebration of Life for Alicia will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday, January 27, 2022, at Elliott Chapel. Friends may sign her book from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Friday through Wednesday at Elliott Mortuary. The family will greet friends following the service.

Alicia was a loving mom, daughter, granddaughter, sister, niece, and friend.  She will be sorely missed by everyone who knew her.
