Alisha Mayberry was born on August 6, 1974, in Hutchinson, Kansas, to Ray Rodriguez and Terri Lohmeyer. She passed away peacefully on May 6, surrounded by her family and an abundance of love in her home.

On November 29, 2002, Alisha was united in marriage to Henry Mayberry III in Alexandria, Louisiana. Together they built a life centered around love, family, and laughter.

Alisha attended Wichita State University, where she earned her Master of Social Work, Bachelor of Arts, and Bachelor of Social Work degrees. She spent over 20 years working in social work, where she made a lasting impact through her compassion, guidance, and commitment to helping others.

Alisha loved to travel and cherished making memories with family and friends. She was known for her strength, kindness, compassion, and the genuine care she showed to everyone she met. Above all, she was a devoted wife, loving mother, proud grandmother, and loyal friend.

She is survived by her husband, Henry Mayberry of Hutchinson, Kansas; her three children, Tasha Holcomb of Hutchinson, Kansas, Trae Mayberry of Lenexa, Kansas, and Tamara Mayberry of Wichita, Kansas; and her two beloved grandchildren, Drevian Holcomb and Isabella Holcomb of Hutchinson, Kansas.

She was preceded in death by her parents, grandparents, and mother-in-law.

The family will hold a Celebration of Life on May 14, beginning at noon at Carey Park – Homebuilders Shelter, 2 Emerson Loop, Hutchinson, Kansas 67501.

Alisha’s love, wisdom, and beautiful spirit will forever remain in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
