Allen D. Hill, 67, passed away peacefully at his home on May 17, 2014, in Palm Coast, Florida. Allen was born June 4, 1946, to Allen Merle and Lucy (Simmons) Hill, and grew up in Hutchinson, where he attended Hutchinson High School. He proudly served his country in the Army Reserves. Allen worked as an aerial patrolman substation supervisor for Westar Energy. His hobbies and interests were computers and music. Allen was very active in his church, Palm Coast Bible Church.

Allen will be sadly missed by his wife, Deborah Harmon Hill of Palm Coast, Florida; daughters, Shellie Couch and husband Coil of Inman, Diane Minium of Hutchinson; son, Gary Hill of Hutchinson; grandchildren, Kalee (Mike) Ratley, Cole (Kelley) Couch, AJ Couch, Blake (Vicki) Minium, Andy Minium, Farrington (Mason) Lear, Rebecca Hill; great grandchildren, Lydia, Gage, Weston, Chloe, Hunter, Alice and Ryker; siblings, Frieda Pacourek, Naomi (Chuck) Dean, Richard (MaryJo) Hill, and Gloria (Ferrol) Franklin.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Fred Hill.

Graveside service will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, May 27, 2014, at Fairlawn Burial Park, with Pastor Bart Horton officiating. Friends may sign the book 9-5 today and 9-5 Sunday. Elliott Mortuary and Crematory in charge of the arrangements.
