Allen L. Roth's Obituary
Allen L. Roth, 75, died Tuesday, Feb. 7, 2012. He was born in Hutchinson on Feb. 24, 1936, the son of Albert and Mollie Wagner Roth.
He was a lifetime Reno County resident, a graduate of Reno County High School, Nickerson, and Kansas State University and was a member of Eastwood Church of Christ. Allen had been a farmer and had worked at Cessna, Mega Manufacturing and Invalco.
On Aug. 12, 1956, he married Ilene J. Jones in Hutchinson. She survives.
Other survivors include: their children, Denise Fangrow of South Hutchinson, Diane Roth of Wichita, David of Lyons, and Daniel of Hutchinson; six grandchildren, John Roth, Angel (Jordan) Reichert, Ashley (Ryan) Nease, Kaile (Brian) Leiker, Lyndsey Roth and Leah Roth; and six great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; and a daughter-in-law, Dana Roth.
Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Friday, Feb. 10, 2012, at Eastwood Church of Christ, with Jimie-Wray Mead officiating. Burial will be in Penwell-Gabel Cemetery and Mausoleum, Hutchinson. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday with family present from 7 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson.
Memorial gifts may be made to the church or Good Samaritan Center, in care of the mortuary.
