Amy Sue Hollingsworth, 55, of Plevna, passed away peacefully on September 24, 2026, at Hutchinson Regional Medical Center, surrounded by the people she loved most—her family.

Amy was born June 6, 1971, in Hutchinson, to Robert “Bob” Inghram and Vicky Park. From the very beginning, Amy brought her own special spark to the world, and throughout her life, she found joy in the simple things that made her happiest.

Amy was a true creator. She loved working with her hands and could turn just about anything into a project. She enjoyed quilting, sewing, crocheting, and building with LEGOs. She loved racing cars, getting lost in a good romance novel, and working on her farm. She made haggling a sport and frequented antique shops and swap meets.

On September 12, 2012, Amy married Kerry Hollingsworth in Las Vegas. Together, they shared 14 years filled with love, laughter, memories, and family.

But more than anything else, Amy loved her family. Being a wife, mother, Grandma, and Nana was at the heart of who she was. Her six grandchildren held a very special place in her heart, and she treasured every moment she spent with them. She loved her children and grandchildren deeply and gave her family a love that was constant, generous, and unconditional.

Amy leaves behind a lifetime of memories that will be carried on by her husband, Kerry Hollingsworth; children, Sarah (Troy) Herrin of Bailey, Colorado, Colton Peterson of Hutchinson, Trisha Peterson of Wichita, Brandon (Aubrey) Peterson of Hutchinson, and Megan Ellison of Wichita; mother, Vicky Park of Hutchinson; siblings, Stacy (Michael) Craft of Texas, Bobbie Jo Inghram of Hutchinson, Dawn (Tim) Sanford of Maize, and Jeremy Ehart of Hutchinson; her beloved grandchildren, Hailey, Natally, Gianna, Benjamin, Adeline, and Layla; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her fathers, Robert “Bob” Inghram and Dwight Milburn, and her grandmother, Mary Goertzen.

Though Amy is no longer here to share another story, finish another project, tend her garden, find the next great bargain, or wrap her arms around her grandchildren, the love she gave her family will remain. She will be remembered in the countless memories she created, the laughter she shared, and the lives she touched simply by being Amy.

A memorial service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday, October 2, 2026, at Elliott Mortuary Chapel.

Friends may sign her book from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Thursday at Elliott Mortuary.

Cremation has taken place.
