Amy Sue McVey, 50, of Hutchinson, died on October 2, 2021, in Hutchinson. She was born November 23, 1970, in Hutchinson, to Wilson and Sandra (Lock) West.

Amy was a graduate of Hutchinson High School and went on to earn her CNA certification. She loved animals, especially her dogs. Amy was a member of Faith United Methodist Church and also attended Salt City Cowboy Church.

On June 9, 2006, she married Richard Blaine McVey, in Hutchinson. They shared 15 years together.

Amy is survived by: husband, Richard McVey; daughter, April West; son, Adam McVey; daughter, Alissa McVey; parents, Wilson and Sandra West; brother, Andrew West; and two grandchildren, all of Hutchinson.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents.

Cremation has taken place. There will be no services at this time.
