Andrew Blake Evans, 41, of Hutchinson, died May 19, 2023, at Hutchinson Regional Medical Center. He was born July 24, 1981, in Hutchinson, to Dale and Linda (Harris) Evans Jr.

Andrew graduated from Hutchinson High School in 1999. He was an artist at heart and also worked in residential construction. Andrew also assisted his father in cemetery work. He was an OU Sooners and Kansas City Chiefs football fan and loved donating his hair to Locks of Love. But most of all, he loved spending time with his daughters.

Andrew his survived by: his daughters, Leigha Jackson-Evans (and her mother, Becky Valdois)  Sorrell Evans (and her mother, Jamie Schmidt) all of Hutchinson; father, Dale Evans Jr. of Manhattan; mother, Linda Harris of Woodward, OK; sisters, Amber Myers (Josh) of Manhattan, Anna Dawson (Cameron Jr.) of Minneapolis, KS; nephews, Ethan Evans, Austin Evans, Benjamin Dawson, Cameron Dawson III; niece, Philomena Dawson; aunt and uncle, Vicki and Wayne Herndon of Owasso, OK; cousins, Cory Harris, Courtney Craft, Jessica Heimdale; and many extended family members.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents.

Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, May 23, 2023, at Hutchinson Gospel Chapel, 2005 N. Hendricks St. Burial will follow in Eastside Cemetery. Friends may call from 12-8 p.m. Monday at Elliott Mortuary.
