Andrew Austin Tolbert, 27, of Hutchinson, died May 18, 2021. He was born February 28, 1994, in Hutchinson, to Mack Tolbert and Sebrina Dickerson.

Andrew graduated from Hutchinson High School in 2013. He earned several degrees and certifications through Hutchinson Community College, including: coding, computer science, computer technology, IT support, and automation engineering. Andrew was an automation engineer apprentice for Viega in McPherson. He was a selfless person who always put the needs of others first. Andrew was always looking for a way to be helpful or to simply let someone know he cared about them. He was kind, generous, encouraging, and thoughtful. Andrew loved drawing, inventing, tinkering, reading, writing, chess, computers, games of strategy, electronics, gadgets, math, gaming, and deep, thoughtful conversations. He played the cello, golf, disc golf, and tennis. Andrew had a razor wit, big-hearted laugh and quirky sense of humor. He will be deeply missed.

Andrew is survived by: mother, Sebrina Dickerson; father, Mack Tolbert; sister, Sophia Tolbert; brother, Boaz Tolbert, all of Hutchinson; and many other family members.

Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, June 1, 2021, at Elliott Mortuary. Burial will follow at Fairlawn Burial Park. Friends may call from 1:00 to 8:00 p.m. Sunday at Elliott Mortuary.
