Andy C. Anderson, 90, died Oct. 1, 2005, at the Good Samaritan Center, Lyons.
He was born Nov. 17, 1914, in Eolia, Mo., the son of James Ruben and Amelia Klatz Anderson. A longtime Denver resident, moving to Hutchinson in 2003, he was retired from the military service serving in four branches, U.S. Army, U.S. Army Air Corp, U.S. Navy and the U.S. Air Force, retiring in 1964 from Lowry Air Force Base, Denver, after 30 years.
He belonged to the Methodist Faith, Mason at the Eolia Lodge, Eolia, Mo., Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 3631 and the Aurora Gun Club, both in Aurora, Colo., Yangtze River Patrol, the USS Augusta Asiatic Fleet, DAV Post No. 21, South China Patrol Association, American Legion Post No. 1 and the Denver Coin Club, both in Denver. He served during World War II and the Korean Conflict.
On Feb. 14, 2000, he married Alice Maxine Gable at Denver. She survives.
Other survivors include: a stepdaughter, Dahrma Webber, Placerville, Calif.
He was preceded in death by a sister.
Services will be held at a later date at Elliott Mortuary Chapel, Hutchinson, with military honors conducted by McConnell Air Force Base Honor Guard.
