PARTRIDGE - Anja Danae Miller, 18, went to be with Jesus on Sept. 10, 2013. Anja was the only daughter of LaVerne E. and Rebecca Miller. She was born June 24, 1995, in Lyons, Kan.
Anja is survived by her parents, LaVerne and Rebecca Miller of Partridge; her four brothers, Floyd and wife Dorcas of El Oasis Colony, Mexico, Craig and wife Rachel of Cleburne, Texas, Loyal and wife Arlene of Partridge, John of Partridge; her nephews, Bomani and Alex; and her nieces, Daisy and Hazel. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Ervin J. and Mary Martha Miller; and maternal grandparents, John D. and Emma Miller.
Anja graduated this past May from Beaver Creek Christian School. She was a loyal member of Center Amish Mennonite Church. She had a wide circle of good friends and especially enjoyed participating in youth group activities. She was also involved with Hands of Christ Ministry, Royal Clovers 4-H club, and the Kansas Youth Chorus. Anja was a talented vocal musician and pianist. She loved painting and sketching, as well as domestic arts like sewing and cooking. Anja's love and loyalty was a gift to her parents, brothers, and sisters-in-law. Her love made her a favorite of her nieces and nephews. Anja became a daughter of the King at a young of age. The fruits of the Spirit - love, joy, and peace were hallmarks of her character. She will be deeply missed.
Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 14, 2013, at Center Amish Mennonite Church, 7611 West Morgan Ave, with Pastor David Yoder officiating. Burial will be in West Center Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1 to 3 p.m. and from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at the church.
