Ann C. Kopfman, 72, of Hutchinson, died September 12, 2025, surrounded by her loved ones. She was born November 16, 1952, in Great Bend, Kansas, to Francis and Margaret (Kowalsky) Malone.

Ann graduated from Chase High School in 1971. She was a longtime cheerleader and was bestowed the honor of homecoming princess twice. After dating for four years, Ann Malone married her high school sweetheart, Bob Kopfman, on January 8, 1972, at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Chase, Kansas. They shared 53 beautiful years together before her death.

Ann was raised as a simple farm girl with a love of the outdoors. She relished yardwork and enjoying the hummingbirds that would visit her. Ann had a love for flowers, especially hibiscus and impatiens. She was truly the light of her family's life and lived vibrantly.

Ann is survived by: beloved husband, Bob Kopfman; son, Daniel Kopfman; sisters, Carol (Harold) Goble and Donna Malone; brothers, Randall Malone and Tim Malone; grandchild, Maya Kopfman; in-laws, Kay Thrall, Jim (Rande) Kopfman, Jeri (Frank) Vondra, and Don Kopfman; and numerous loved nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Celebration of Life will take place at a later date. Cremation has taken place. Friends may sign her book 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Saturday starting September 16, 2025 until October 7, 2025.
