Ann F. Smith, 90, died March 15, 2007, at her home, Hutchinson.
She was born May 11, 1916, in Ness City, the daughter of Charles Wesley and Pearl Grace Phillips Foster. She graduated from Hutchinson High School in 1933, and in 1935, from Venus Beauty Academy, Wichita. She was a homemaker and beautician at Innes Department Store Beauty Shop, Wichita.
She attended Trinity United Methodist Church, and belonged to The Father's House, Athena Club, and the Women's Golf Club in Carey Park.
On June 2, 1940, she married Doran Smith in Wichita. He died Feb. 13, 1998.
Survivors include: three daughters, Sally Tucker, Morrison, Colo., Kay Cornwell, Hutchinson, and Joyce Crockett, Peabody; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, Doran Lee Smith; a brother, William "Bill" Foster; and a sister, Eva Foster.
Celebration of Life service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 24, 2007, at The Father's House, Hutchinson, with Pastor Quintin Moore presiding. Cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation.
Memorials may be sent to Hospice House, or to The Father's House, both in care of Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson.
