Ann E. Kollhoff Snyder, 87, died Oct. 1, 2006 at Galichia Heart Hospital, Wichita.
She was born June 20, 1919 in Dorrance, the youngest child of Andreas and Marie Catherine Fritzler Keller. She attended Lucas Schools. She lived at her rural residence east of Nickerson for the last 60 years. She was a homemaker and had been active in dairying and farming. She also had worked at J.C. Penney and Long John Silvers.
She belonged to Mitchell Chapel United Methodist Church, was past secretary and treasurer for Ayrshire Dairy Council and a member of Cow Creek Drainage District Board. She loved her beautifully groomed cats, Sam and Tiny.
On Sept. 1, 1941 she married Chester L. Kollhoff in Hutchinson. He died Jan. 3, 1974. On Dec. 27, 1978 she married Dwight E. Snyder in Hutchinson. He died Sept. 14, 1992.
Survivors include: step children and spouses, Daniel and Donna Snyder, Nickerson and Janis and Jim Smoley, Hutchinson; four step grandchildren, Brian and Kelli Snyder, Susie and David Dawson, Holly Snyder and Jason and Erin Smoley; four step great grandchildren, Kaitlyn and Braden Snyder and Tyler and Brooke Dawson; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by three brothers, David, Alex and Victor Keller; and six sisters, Marie Nuevert, Lydia Engle, Emma Princ, Lee Hughes, Bertha Rabas and Amelia Kvasnicka.
Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Elliott Mortuary Chapel, Hutchinson, with the Rev. Ron Lowry presiding. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the mortuary. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, Hutchinson.
