Anna Marie "Annie" Goss, 92, died Jan. 18, 2016, at Pleasant View Home, Inman. She was born March 1, 1923, in Rosalia, to Curtis John and Sarah (Shea) Wolford.
Annie was the oldest living graduate from St. Teresa's Catholic High School, graduating in 1942. She was a parish member of St. Teresa's Catholic Church, volunteered for Birth Right, a member of V.F.W. Bob Campbell Post #1361 Ladies Auxiliary, American Business Women's Association, St. Teresa's Altar Society and Daughters of Isabella.
On Sept. 9, 1949, Annie married Lincoln David Goss in Hutchinson. He died Nov. 18, 2010. Survivors include: children, Shelia Weaver and husband Richard of Easton, Conn., Coleen Oberle and husband David of Hutchinson, David Goss and wife Krina of Rockford, Ill., Patrick Goss of Hutchinson, Frank Goss of Leavenworth, Clare Jean Hogan-Gonzales and husband Roland of San Antonio, Texas, Angelita Mejia of Wichita; 15 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Annie was preceded in death by: her parents; daughter, Margaret Goss; a brother; and two sisters.
Rosary will be at 7 p.m. Friday, Jan. 22, 2016, at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson. Mass of Christian Burial 10 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 23, 2016, at St. Teresa's Catholic Church, Hutchinson, with Father Michael Maybrier officiating. Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday through Friday at Elliott Mortuary.
