Obituary

Anna L. Bradley, 93, died July 24, 2007, at Dillon Living Center, Hutchinson.

She was born Nov. 1, 1913, in Braman, Okla., the daughter of Frank F. and Lydia M. Iman Stocking. A Hutchinson resident since 1991, she moved from Plainville. She was 1932 graduate of Braman High School. She was a homemaker. She was known for her handmade peanut brittle and her quick wit. Her passion was her family and helping neighbors.

She belonged to the Plainville United Methodist Church, 10th Avenue United Methodist Church, Hutchinson, 4-H and Girl Scout leader in the Turksville community.

On June 30, 1934, she married Dale J. Bradley in Wellington. He died April 27, 2005.

Survivors include: a son, Lyndale "Brad" Bradley and wife, Sharon, Hutchinson; a daughter, Glena Dee Melting and husband, Art, Longmont, Colo.; six grandchildren, Andrea, Lance and Derek Melting, Tami and Kobi Bradley, and Shelby Bradley Burkhart; and 14 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, Glenn and Joe.

Funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson with Pastor Matt Stafford presiding. Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Thursday and 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Braman (Okla.) Cemetery.

Memorials may be sent to Hospice Care of Kansas or Dillon Living Center, both in care of the funeral home.
