NICKERSON - Anna Marie Zimmerman, 73, died May 6, 2009, at Promise Regional Medical Center, Hutchinson.

She was born June 20, 1935, in Wellington, Mo., to Loren and Pearl Louise Hawk Dorland. She loved to read the Bible and pray for everyone. She also loved the farm life, horses, and planting flowers. Anna Marie loved her family, and above all, she loved the Lord. He was her life.

On June 8, 1959, she married Rollin Keith Zimmerman. He died in 1993.

Survivors include: daughter, Connie L. Olson and husband Nathan, Irving, Texas; stepson, Jimmy Zimmerman, Plains; stepdaughter, Patricia Lisowski, Nickerson; brother, Donald Dorland and wife Wanda, Craig, Colo.; grandson, Jeromie Ruelas, Nickerson; four great-grandchildren, Chance Ruelas, Mariana and Alexia Boese, and Nevaeh Becker.

She was preceded in death by sister Bessie Dolan; and six brothers, Vernon, Dean, Lawrence, Loren, Paul and Fred Dorland.

Cremation has taken place. A private family memorial service will be held.
