Annette "Annie" Bush, 50, died at home, February 16, 2012, from a broken heart. She was born August 31, 1961, in Hutchinson, the daughter of Harold E. and Dorothy L. Lawrence Roberts. Annie graduated from Hutchinson High School in 1979. She worked for Tyson Foods, Inc., in the 1st shift slicing department for the last 14 years.
She was married to Galen D. Vedder. She then married Brian L. Bush on May 1, 2009, in Hutchinson. He died February 10, 2012.
She is survived by her two children, Kyle Vedder and fiancee Jacqueline Baker of Hutchinson, Brittany Vedder of McPherson; two grandchildren, Aaden Vedder and Emmett Childs; father, Harold E. Roberts of Hutchinson; brother, Jeff Roberts and wife Karen of South Hutchinson; two sisters, Carolyn Price and Wilmar Hinshaw, and Janet Benson and husband Richard, all of Hutchinson; and adopted sister, Terri; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Brian, infant son, Scott Michael Vedder, mother, Dorothy L. Roberts, and a brother, Ronnie E. Roberts.
Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, February 21, 2012, at Elliott Mortuary Chapel, with Chaplain Reta Joy Campbell presiding. Friends may call 9-9 Monday, with family to receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Burial will be in Penwell-Gabel Cemetery and Mausoleum, Hutchinson. Memorials may be made to the Hutchinson Animal Shelter, in care of the mortuary.
