Annita L. "Ann" Thomas, 83, of Larned, died March 4, 2025, at Hospice House, Hutchinson. She was born on September 24, 1941, in Wichita, to Carl Marion and Geraldine Louise (Combs) Blevins.

Ann earned her GED in 1989. She was a hard worker and loved to care for others; she was a caregiver for the elderly for almost 50 years. Ann enjoyed playing bingo and spending time outside tending to her flowers. She was a member of Foursquare Gospel Church, Hutchinson.

Ann is survived by: her children, Tina (Chris) Harrison of Ness City, Carl Cunningham of Hill City, Junior Cunningham of Hutchinson; grandchildren, Ashley Zolman, Austin (Sylvia) Sage, Brandon Cunningham, Candace Cunningham, all of Hutchinson, Joshua Brown of Kanopolis; Tonya Gordon of Wichita, Tabitha Pethell of Georgia; 18 great-grandchildren and; siblings, Gary Blevins, Carl Blevins, both of Wichita, Connie Hamby and Tonya White, both of Hutchinson.

She was preceded in death by: her parents, and daughter, Julie Ann Cunningham.

Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Friday, March 7, 2025, at Elliott Mortuary. Burial will follow in Fairlawn Burial Park, Hutchinson. Friends may call 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, March 6, 2025, with the family present from 6 to 8 p.m. at Elliott Mortuary.
