Anthony Frederick 'Tony' Mans, 87, of Hutchinson, died Tuesday, January 9, 2018, at his home in Hutchinson. He was born December 14, 1930, in Garden Plain, Sedgwick, Kansas, to Anthony Joseph and Rosa (Horsh) Mans.

Anthony graduated from Kingman High School in 1949. He joined the United States Navy and proudly served his country in the Korean War. He worked for Packaging Corporation of America/Republic Paper Board for 42 years. He was a parish member of St. Teresa's Catholic Church , Loyal Order of Moose #982, Knights of Columbus Council #612, American Legion Lysle Rishel Post #68, and Retreads Motorcycle Club. Over the years, Anthony loved to bowl.

On July 9, 1953, he married Patricia Lou Saffle at St. Patrick Catholic Church, in Kingman. She died on Sept. 15, 2015. Anthony is survived by: son, Steve Mans and wife Candy of Cache, OK; daughters, Cathy Hardman and husband Gary of Hutchinson, Christy Dunigan and husband Eric of Hutchinson, and Cindy Byce and husband David of Cranberry Township, PA; nine grandchildren ;16 great-grandchildren; and a nephew, Leon Tiesmeyer of Kingman.  He was preceded in death by: his parents; two sisters, Ellen Tiesmeyer and Marge Bauer, both of Kingman; niece, Delores Hampel of Hutchinson; and nephew, Freddy Tiesmeyer of Kingman.

Parish Rosary will be 9:30 a.m Saturday, January 13, 2018, followed by a 10:00 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Teresa's Catholic Church, 211 E. 5th, Hutchinson, with Father Michael Maybrier officiating. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery, Hutchinson, with military honors conducted by the United States Navy. Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m, Friday, with family present from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m January 12, 2018, at Elliott Mortuary.
