ORANGE PARK, FLA - Ardith A. Liebst, 67, died Sept. 29, 2008, at her home in Orange Park, Fla.
She was born June 20, 1941, in Burrton, the daughter of Lucian Virgil and Alice Karr Brown Hammar. She had been a long time Fla. resident.
She graduated from Haven High School in 1958, and Emporia State Teachers College in 1962. She was a retired Civil Service employee, working for the Army Corp. of Engineers.
She was of the Christian faith.
On June 8, 1966, she married Brien Liebst in Newkirk, Okla. He survives. Other survivors include: one daughter, Tatiana Liebst, Orange Park, Fla.; two brothers, Terry Hammar, Phoenix, and Kenneth Hammar, Ft. Scott; a sister, Arthella Hammar, Hutchinson. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother Larry Hammar.
Graveside service 11 a.m. Thursday Oct. 9, 2008, at Valley Township Cemetery, rural Haven, with Pastor Darrell Bisel presiding. Friends may sign the book, 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson.
Memorials may be sent to Bethany Church of the Nazarene in care of the funeral home.
