Arleen Lentz, 93, of Hutchinson, died September 9, 2018, at Good Samaritan Society- Hutchinson Village. She was born July 6, 1925, in Mitchell, Kansas, to William Earl and Edith Belle (Miller) Martinie.
Arleen graduated from Lyons High School in 1943. She worked as a bank teller for a number of financial institutions located in Hutchinson, Alden, Hoisington, and Great Bend. Arleen retired, after 25 years of service, as a vault teller for Bank of America in California. She was a member of First Baptist Church, Hutchinson.
On August 5, 1946, she married Ralph Eugene 'Gene' Lentz in Hutchinson. Arleen is survived by: her loving husband of 72 years, Gene of Hutchinson; son, Rick Lentz and wife Margie of Westminster, Colorado; granddaughter, Meghan Lentz of Centennial, Colorado; grandsons, Erin Lentz of Phoenix, Arizona, Wesley Lentz of Westminster, Colorado; sister, Mary Lou Palmer of Independence; and twin sister, Roseleen Deam of Sacramento, California.
Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Friday, September 14, 2018, at Elliott Chapel, with Pastor Gordon Rhodes officiating. Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday and until service time Friday at Elliott Mortuary.
