Arlene Joyce Hoy, 86, died Feb. 10, 2006, at Overland Park Regional Medical Center.
She was born Jan. 16, 1920, in Dickinson County, the daughter of Wier and Lillian Funston-Janssen. A resident of Hutchinson for 54 years, she was a homemaker.
She was a longtime doll collector and a member of the Prairie Sunbonnet Doll Club.
Survivors include: two sons, Joel Hoy and Daniel Eply, both of Mission, and John Hoy and wife, Janet, Arvada, Colo.; a daughter, Linda Hobbs and husband, Corky, Overland Park; a sister, Marion Janssen, Burlington, Colo.; three grandchildren, Rachel Bachand and husband, Joseph, JaDee Hoy and Michelle Hoy; and a great-grandson, Luke Bachand.
She was preceded in death by a son, Michael Hoy; an infant daughter, Susan Dian Hoy; and a sister, Bernice Janssen.
Memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Elliott Mortuary Chapel, Hutchinson, with Pastor Kim Biery presiding. Friends may sign the book from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday, Thursday and until service time on Friday. A private inurnment will be held at a later date in Prairiedale Cemetery, Talmage.
