Arlene Mae Schrag, 85, died Feb. 11, 2015, at Buhler Sunshine Meadows Nursing Home. She was born July 17, 1929, to Arthur H. and Elda C. (Krehbiel) Graber in McPherson.

Arlene was a member of First Mennonite Church at Pretty Prairie. On July 29, 1953, she married Richard J. Schrag in rural Moundridge. He died March 12, 2012.

Survivors include: children, David Schrag and wife Joan of South Hutchinson, Becky Schrag of Wichita, Rick Schrag and wife Penny of Hutchinson, and Kathy Kroeker and husband Loren of Inman; seven grandchildren and spouses; ten great-grandchildren; brothers, Leonard Graber, Paul Graber, Royce Graber; and many nieces and nephews. Arlene was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers.

Funeral services will be 3 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 15, 2015, at First Mennonite Church, 1718 West Pretty Prairie Road, with Pastor Don Roberts officiating. Burial will follow in the First Mennonite Church Cemetery. Friends may call from noon to 6 p.m. with family present to receive friends from 4 to 6 p.m. Saturday and from 9 a.m. to noon Sunday at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson.
