Arlis L. "Joe" Crenshaw, 65, died Dec. 6, 2010, at Promise Regional Medical Center, Hutchinson.
He was born Oct. 29, 1945, in Wild Cherry, Ark., the son of Claude Hanford and Elsie Z. Anderson Crenshaw.
A resident of Hutchinson, he was a retired truck driver.
He was a member of The Father's House and Lakeside Recreation and Boat Club of Nickerson.
On June 6, 1968, he married Katherine Washburn in Hutchinson. She survives.
Other survivors include: sons, Lance and wife Shelly, Hutchinson, Perry, Paradise, Pat, Wilson, Travis and wife Kim, Andover, and Dakota, Hutchinson; daughters, Kerri Oliva and husband Bob, Topeka, Maggie Crenshaw, Great Bend, and Katie Crenshaw, Hutchinson; his mother, Elsie Evans, South Hutchinson; brothers, Billy and Jack, both of Hutchinson, and Don, South Hutchinson; sisters, Audean Dale, Plevna, Alice Williams, Newton, and Bonnie McKlasen, South Hutchinson; nine grandchildren; and numerous foster children.
He was preceded in death by his father Claude, stepfather Brice Evans and a brother, Alvin.
Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Friday, Dec. 10, 2010, at The Father's House at 1505 E. 20th, Hutchinson, with Bishop Quintin Moore and Pastor Brett Hill presiding. Friends may sign the book from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. today and Thursday at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson. Cremation will take place. Inurnment will be in Fairlawn Cemetery, Hutchinson.
