Arthur Fredrick Lyman's Obituary
Arthur Fredrick Lyman, 79, died Dec. 19, 2012, at Hutchinson Regional Medical Center. He was born Aug. 29, 1933, to Glenn and Anna Lyman in Hutchinson.
On Feb. 4, 1958, he married Joyce Patricia Lyon in Portland, Ore. She survives. He was retired military, serving in the United States Army. Arthur was also a Technical Engineer for shopping centers and worked for Carey Salt. Other survivors include: son, Steve Lyman and wife Rosanna of Dallas, Texas; daughters, Vickie Corcoran and husband Chad of Burrton, Kan., Toni VanWey of Hutchinson; 10 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, five great great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Bruce Lyman; three brothers; and two sisters.
Cremation has taken place. Memorial service will be 10 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 27, 2012, at Grace Bible Church, 1221 E. 33rd Ave., Hutchinson, with Pastor Rick Goertzen presiding. Military honors conducted by United States Army Honor Guard. Memorial contributions may be made to Grace Bible Church Building Fund, in care of Elliott Mortuary, 1219 N. Main St., Hutchinson, KS, 67501.
