Asa Wayne Jaye, infant son of Jace and Kendra (Smith) Jaye, was welcomed into the world on November 21, 2022, by a loving team of doctors, nurses, family, and friends. He passed away in his mother's arms, surrounded by his family on November 22, 2022, at Children's Mercy Hospital in Kansas City, MO.

Asa was welcomed into Heaven by his Maker and his father, Jace. Although Asa's time on earth was short, he made a lasting impact on those that met him and those who didn't have the chance to.

Mourning his passing are: his mother, Kendra; brother, Gauge; grandparents, Randy and Elizabeth Smith, Roy and Brenda Jaye; aunt and uncles; Jose and Paige Carrillo, JT and Paisley Duree, Corey and Emily Huggins, Austin Smith, and Keith and Kara Hewitt.

Asa was preceded in death by his father, Jace; grandparents, Robert and Kristina (Knox) Hewitt; and uncle, Kyle Smith.

Asa will be laid to rest beside his father in a private family service.
