Audrey Lee Peterson, 92, of Hutchinson, died June 27, 2019, at Hester Care Center, Wesley Towers, Hutchinson. She was born March 10, 1927, in Little River, to Glenn J. and Nettie M. (Kingsley) Lackey. Audrey graduated from Inman High School in 1945 and was a homemaker. She loved to cook and spend time with her grandchildren. Audrey was of the Christian faith.

On June 12, 1948, she married LeRoy Peterson in Hutchinson. He died July 30, 2009.

Audrey is survived by: children, Nattalie Vickers, Wichita, Kelly Peterson, McPherson, Angie Peterson, Hutchinson; six grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by: her parents; son, Lowell Peterson; grandson, Gordon Peterson; granddaughter, Natausha Sims; great-granddaughter, Allyana Sims; and siblings, Ruthagene, Lois, and Buddy.

Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, July 2, 2019, at Elliott Chapel. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may call from 1-5 p.m. Sunday and 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday at Elliott Mortuary. Memorials are suggested to American Diabetes Association or Hospice of Reno County, in care of Elliott Mortuary, 1219 N.
