Barbara Jean (Booth) Saner's Obituary
Barbara Jean (Booth) Saner, age 80 of Pretty Prairie, formerly of Wellsville, passed away peacefully at her home on June 18, 2016, surrounded by family.
She was born on February 2, 1936, in Brown County to Forrest E. "Portie" and Agatha Easta (Smith) Booth.
She is survived by: her daughter, Susan Saner-Davenport (Gary Internicola) of Leesburg, Virginia; sister, Ardena Yakle (John) of Mason City, Iowa; brother, Jerome (Vicki) Booth, Lawrence; sister-in law, Evelyn Graber of Pretty Prairie; nieces, nephews and many friends. She was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Jay D. Saner, and her parents.
Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, June 24, at Wellsville United Methodist Church, 302 Locust St., Wellsville. Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 p.m. Thursday, June 23, at Wilson's Funeral Home in Wellsville.
In lieu of flowers, Barbara suggested donations to the Wellsville Friends of the Library, Wellsville United Methodist Church, Hope House of Ottawa or Hospice and HomeCare of Reno County, in care of Elliott Mortuary & Crematory, 1219 N. Main St. Hutchinson, KS 67501.
