Barbara Dean Miller's Obituary
Barbara Dean Miller, 78, died June 24, 2007, at Pleasant View Home, Inman.
She was born on Jan. 17, 1929, in Tecumseh, Okla., the daughter of Harold and Opal M. Guilliams Clark. She was a Hutchinson resident since 1937, moving here from Oklahoma. She graduated from Hutchinson High School in 1946 and from Kansas State University in 1950. Following her graduation from she taught school in Little River and was a homemaker.
She was a member of First Presbyterian church, Delta Delta Delta sorority, American Legion Auxiliary, PEO Chapter D and numerous other civic organizations.
On Jan. 5, 1952, she married Dr. Don M. Miller in Hutchinson. He survives.
Other survivors include: David C. and wife, Marty, Kansas City, Mo., and William S. and wife Lisa, Okemos, Mich.; a brother, Charles B. Clark, Melborne, Fla.; and two grandchildren Cole and Jackson Miller, Okemos, Mich.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at First Presbyterian Church with Rev. Tim Soule presiding. Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m. Wednesday and 8 to 11 a.m. Thursday, with family receiving friends Wednesday from 6 to 7 p.m. at Elliott Chapel.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to First Presbyterian Church or the Hutchinson Community College Endowment Association, both in care of the funeral home.
