Barbara Perkins, 89, died Dec. 14, 2015, at Collier Assisted Living Center, Hutchinson. She was born Feb. 22, 1926, in Great Bend, to Fred and Helen (Luttrell) Beeman.

Barbara was a member of PEO Chapter BY and First Presbyterian Church. On March 25, 1951, she married Dr. Jack L. Perkins in Hutchinson. He died Nov. 6, 2004. Survivors include: daughters, Cynthia Perkins of Omaha, Neb., and Pamela Johnson and husband Stan of Tucson, Ariz.; grandson, Connor Johnson of Tucson, Ariz.; and brother, Robert Beeman and wife Dorothy of Denver, Colo. She was preceded in death by her husband and parents.

Memorial service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 19, 2015, at Elliott Chapel, with the Reverend Mark H. Miller officiating. Private family graveside service will be held. The casket will remain closed. Friends may sign the book from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday and Friday at Elliott Mortuary. The family will greet friends from 1 p.m. until service time Saturday.
