Barbara June Pitts, 78, died Dec. 14, 2011, at Life Care Center, Hutchinson. She was born May 21, 1933, in Salina, Kan., the daughter of Clarence M. and Mamie J. (Ostland) Lynn.

Barbara was a 1951 graduate of Topeka High School. She worked at Hutchinson National Bank and was a secretary for Tech Inc. On March 15, 1968, she married Phillip Sherman Pitts in Hutchinson. He died July 7, 1995. Survivors include: an adopted daughter, Frances McKalvy of Hutchinson. She was preceded in death by three brothers, Clarence M. Lynn, Warren K. Lynn and Kenneth A. Lynn.

A private burial will take place at Penwell-Gabel Cemetery and Mausoleum, Hutchinson. Memorials may be made to Life Care Center or Tech Inc., in care of Elliott Mortuary, 1219 N. Main, Hutchinson, KS 67501.
