Barbara Ann Reid, 71, of Hutchinson, died August 20, 2019.  She was born May 16, 1948, in Tribune, to Leonard C. and M. LaVerne (Baum) Kiefer.

Barbara was a 1967 graduate of Wichita County High School and attended Hutchinson Community College.  She drove a school bus for middle school and special needs kids in the Buhler Unified School District #313 for 36 years and made wedding cakes.  Barbara was a member of Parks Presbyterian Church, Leoti.  Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren were her greatest source of pride and joy.

She is survived by:  daughter, Radona (Josh Watkins) Reid, Hutchinson; sisters, Bonita (Lynn) Macey, San Jose, CA, Delberta (Stanley) Pfeifer, Topeka, Karla Vaughan, Lawrence; grandchildren, Mika Reid, Gavin Reid, Canon Cavanaugh and Keegun Beeler, all of Hutchinson; great-grandchildren, Ashlynn, Kaybrie and Braxton Belote, all of Hutchinson; niece, Stephanie Macey, San Jose, CA; and nephew, Joshua (Anna) Macey, Chico, CA.

Barbara was preceded in death by her parents.

Cremation has taken place.  Celebration of Life and graveside service will be announced at a later date.  Elliott Mortuary and Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
