Barbara June Scheuermann's Obituary
Barbara June Scheuermann, 75, died Oct. 9, 2007, at Hospice House.
She was born June 15, 1932, in Colby, the daughter of Walter and Wilma Baughman Chase. A longtime resident of Hutchinson, she was a homemaker and had worked for the former Grace Hospital.
She belonged to Our Redeemer Lutheran Church. She was a member of Circle 3 and the Lutheran Women's Missionary League.
On Oct. 2, 1952, she married Don Scheuermann in Hutchinson. He survives.
Other survivors include: two sons, Don and Thomas, both of Hutchinson; a daughter, Kathy Zimmerman, Norwalk, Calif.; her mother, Wilma Chase, Hutchinson; two brothers, Thomas Chase, Wichita, Amos Chase, Hutchinson; and three grandchildren,Justin Zimmerman, Jacob and Jadon Espinoza.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Sherry.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church, Hutchinson, with the Rev. Thomas B. Mendenhall presiding. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday at Elliott Mortuary. Burial will be in Fairlawn Burial Park.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to the Barbara June Scheuermann Memorial Fund, in care of the mortuary.
