Barton Daniel McCarthy, 21, died Sept. 11, 2010.

He was born Dec. 22, 1988, at Salina, the son of Kevin V. and Lana J. Littell McCarthy.

He was a 2007 graduate of Hutchinson High School and had worked at Dannyboy's Smoke House.

He is survived by his parents; twin sister, Emma Grace McCarthy; brother, Key Vincent McCarthy, all of Hutchinson; grandmothers, Helen Littell, Richmond, Va., and Linda Bound, Nevada, Mo.; great-grandmothers, Maxine Littell, Nevada, Mo., Anna Potente, Long Island, N.Y.; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Larry Barton Littell and Thomas Daniel McCarthy, grandmother, Grace Frances McCarthy, great grandfathers, Frank Littell and Vincent Potente and great-grandparents, Thomas and Marcella McCarthy.

Funeral will be 11 a.m. Thursday, Sept.16, 2010, at Elliott Chapel, Hutchinson, with Pastor Matt Stafford officiating. Cremation will follow the service. Friends may call 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday with family present 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Elliott Mortuary.
