Bathis "Betty" L. Tinin, 80, died Jan. 26, 2006, at her home, Hutchinson.
She was born July 10, 1925, in Tahlequah, Okla., the daughter of Charles Winston and Marybelle Kate Morton Foster. A resident of Hutchinson since 1944, moving from Tahlequah, Okla., she was a homemaker and bookkeeper for her husband's business, George Tinin Contractor.
She belonged to the Women's International Bowling Congress.
On May 27, 1944, she married George Washington Tinin in Pinesville, Mo. He died Feb. 22, 2001.
Survivors include: a son, Tony Tinin of Wichita and his wife, Elena; a daughter, Jean Evans of Hutchinson and her husband, Lonnie; seven grandchildren, Kevin and wife Michelle, Cindy, Chris and wife Julia, Jeff, Andria, Patrick and Anastasia; seven great-grandchildren, James, Autumn, Dallas, Mai-Ling, Felicity, Kai-Houng and Conner "Poo"; and faithful family dog, Rusty.
She was preceded in death by four brothers; five sisters; and beloved family dog, JoJo.
Graveside service will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday in Fairlawn Mausoleum, Hutchinson, with the Rev. Thomas Anderson presiding. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday and Monday at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson, the casket will be closed.
