Beatrice "Bea" M. Daniels, 97, died Nov. 7, 2007, at Golden Plains Health Care Center, Hutchinson.

She was born March 2, 1910, in Meade, the daughter of E.D. and Alice May Patterson Kimber. She graduated in 1928 from Meade High School. A resident of Hutchinson, formerly of Meade, she was a bookkeeper and accountant for B.P.H. Implement, Hutchinson, and was formerly a teller and officer with the First National Bank, Meade.

She belonged to the First United Methodist Church, Meade. She was a big supporter of the Hutchinson Zoo.

Survivors include: very close friends, Wayne Streiff, Meade, and his children.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Jamie Mae Daniels, who was 18 years of age when she died Jan. 29, 1951, in a car accident; her parents; three brothers, Ronald Kimber, Cecil E. Kimber and Eldon Kimber; and a sister, Thelma Wadley.

Graveside service will be at 2:30 p.m. Thursday in Graceland Cemetery, Meade, with the Rev. Harry Fink presiding. Friends may sign the register from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson.

Memorials may be sent to the Friends of the Zoo or the First United Methodist Church in Meade, both in care of the mortuary.
