Bennie D. Evans' Obituary
Bennie D. Evans, 89, died April 3, 2009, at Hospice House, Hutchinson.
He was born Aug. 19, 1919, in South Hutchinson, to Tom and Leavina Richards Evans. He was the founder and former owner of Evans Rental, South Hutchinson.
In May 1937, he married Eva L. Hamm in Hutchinson. She died Feb. 6, 2005.
Survivors include: a daughter, Marla Griggs, South Hutchinson. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Lee and Fred Evans.
Graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Pleasant View Cemetery, Darlow, with Pastor Dan Price presiding.
Memorials may be sent to Hospice of Reno County, in care of Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson.
