Bertha A. Kaiser's Obituary
MEDORA - Bertha A. Kaiser, 93, died May 25, 2008, at Hospice House.
She was born Oct. 3, 1914, in Jefferson County, Neb., the daughter of Bernhard and Justine Fast Friesen.
She was a homemaker and a longtime resident of Medora. She belonged to the Church of the Holy Cross.
On July 16, 1934, she married John M. Kaiser in Hutchinson. He died Feb. 6, 1987.
Survivors include: son, Johnnie and wife Nancy Kaiser, Medora; daughter, Donna Patrick and husband Michael Patrick, Wichita; sisters, Rosella Jackson and Ruth Witt of Hutchinson; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by a grandson, Jarrin Kaiser; a brother, Wilmer Friesen; three sisters, Matilda Curless, Katherine Arnold, Clara Keever.
Rosary will be at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Church of the Holy Cross, Hutchinson. Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Church of the Holy Cross, with Father Joseph Eckberg presiding. Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. today at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson. Burial will be in Penwell-Gable Cemetery and Mausoleum, Hutchinson.
