ARLINGTON - Beryl Miller, 88, died Dec. 5, 2006, at Hospice House.
She was born Dec. 30, 1917, South West of Springfield, Colo., her parents were William and Mary Barnett, they moved to central Kansas, when she was a teenager. She retired as a nurse's technician from Hutchinson Hospital, after working there for more than 20 years.
She was an active member of Presbyterian Church in Arlington. She held many positions in the church and was always eager to share her faith in God with anyone.
She married Earl T. Miller on Oct. 1, 1941. She bought a house in Arlington, while Earl was in Europe in World War II. They lived in that house for the next 60 years.
She is survived by her husband, Earl; a son, Tommy and wife, Gwen, Escondido, Calif.; granddaughter, Robin Burke, Natchitoches, La.; grandson, Steve Miller, Escondido, Calif.; two great-granddaughters, Amanda and Brianna Burke; and many nephews and nieces.
She was preceded in death by four brothers, Stirl, Clyde, Tom and Ralph Barnett; and four sisters, Edna Sacket, Eva Howard, Helen Stewart and Nell Hollis.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Arlington Presbyterian Church, with the Rev. Donald L. Ray presiding. Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Thursday and from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Friday at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson. Burial will be in Partridge Cemetery.
