Beth Haas' Obituary
Beth Rathbun Haas, 92, died Jan. 28, 2006, at Thorne Care Center.
She was born Oct. 7, 1913, in Conway, the daughter of Izella and Samantha Irwessie Ring Rathbun. A Hutchinson resident, growing up in McPherson, County, former resident of Independence, Mo., and Mesa, Ariz., she was a former manager of Independence Employment Service.
She was a member of Business and Professional Women's Association.
On July 16, 1939, she married Ray Haas in Hutchinson. He survives.
Other survivors include: two sisters, Evelyn Thompson, Buhler, and Marjie Eikleberry, Hutchinson; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by four brothers; and seven sisters.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson, with Pastor Melvin Walton presiding. Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Monday and from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the mortuary. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, Hutchinson.
Memorials may be sent to Hospice Care of Kansas, in care of the mortuary, 1219 North Main, Hutchinson, KS 67501.
