Betty B. Smith's Obituary
NICKERSON - Betty Beatrice Smith, 77, died June 1, 2010, at Promise Regional Medical Center, Hutchinson.
She was born July 5, 1932, in Salem, Oregon, the daughter of Ellis and Elsie Jackson Britton.
A Nickerson resident since 1960, she was a retired CNA at Grace Hospital and a homemaker. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
She married Curtis Smith in Springfield, Colorado. He died in April 1988. She later married Jimmie Beltz, Sr. in 2004 in Hutchinson. He survives.
Other survivors include: two sons, Monte F. Smith and his wife Brandi, and Todd Smith and wife Tina, all of Burrton; a daughter, Tawnya Lechner and husband Jeff, Cheney; 11 grandchildren and three great-granddaughters.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother.
Cremation has taken place. A graveside inurnment will be 10 a.m. (MST), Friday, June 4, 2010, in Springfield Cemetery, Springfield, Colorado.
