Betty L. Bailey, 79, died Dec. 4, 2009, at Hospice House, Hutchinson.

She was born on Nov. 28, 1930, in Wichita to Gerald Hampson and Dorothy Louise Hutton Black.

She was a retired bookkeeper for Bailey Auto Services.

She was a member of First Christian Church.

On May 1, 1950, she married Donald L. "Don" Bailey in Hutchinson. He died on July 24, 2003.

Survivors include: sons, Jerry and wife Sharon Bailey, Herington, and Bob and wife Jane Bailey, Hutchinson; a daughter, Kay Voran and husband Gene, Hutchinson; six grandchildren, Christopher, Jacob, and Joshua Bailey, Christina Payne, Ariel and Nicholas Voran; and four great-grandchildren, Collin Hoffman, Maguire Bailey, Derrick Payne and Carter Bailey.

She was preceded in death by brothers, Robert and Joe Black; a sister, Barbara Bertrand; granddaughter, Jennifer Bailey Hoffman; and great-granddaughter, Chloe Taylor Bailey.

Funeral service will be Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. at First Christian Church, with the Rev. Katrina Palan officiating. Friends may call Sunday from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. and Monday from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Burial will be in Penwell-Gabel Cemetery and Mausoleum, Hutchinson.
